Nineteen Eighty-Four, a novel written by George Orwell in 1949, is a story about a future country where the population have no hope. People are controlled by a fascist government, they are constantly being watched and must conform to the government’s doctrine. They aren't allowed to speak to each other on the street, they aren't allowed to bye anything that isn't necessary. In conclusion, 1984 is a vision of George Orwell on how the world would be like if totalitarianism would be a majority in the world. It is a warning to people about the influence of Stalinist, and is also a warning against certain people who might want to disguise their true intentions. He did not want to see his vision that he would later write into 1984 come to life. The last thing Orwell wanted to see was a totalitarian society.
