Success is the main object of desire for many people in the world of today. In George Orwell’s 1984, the author provides a speculative view to the future and brilliantly describes what would happen if ultimate success was attainable. We must fight to keep our rights and limit what the advertisers can do to us, especially children, who are more likely to believe everything that they see or hear. The next time that you see a TV commercial that is too forceful or deceptive, will you do something about it?
