In conclusion, with so much scientific uncertainty as to what causes ADHD, why would a parent choose not to try behavior modification techniques with their children before resorting to drug treatment? There are many other alternatives other than drugging our children to behave! I feel as though drug treatment should only be used when all other avenues have been exhausted
