…out more feelings than when you are not directly effected. Different events bring out different feelings in people. One event may make one person want to change the world. This same event might not have very much effect on another person. When something hits close to home, you will feel it more than distant problems. This is on the basis that by nature, people are selfish and are primarily concerned with what directly effects them.
