Conquered entire known world and encouraged the blending of Greek culture with the cultures of the lands he conquered. Considered the greatest military leader in history. Died at age 33. 28. Alexandria- One of the many cities that bare Alexander the Great's name. In Egypt, it's the home of the world's first library.
