…said he believes that private property owners would never be allowed to get away with the poor property upkeep that has earned Amtrak its bad reputation in Queens. One good reason living Astoria is convenience of transportation. For most of the places in Astoria, it is needless to drive because of the well-developed subway system. Also, the crime rate in Astoria is relatively low. I, personally as a resident, feel safe living in this area.
