…many were killed there. The handful of European Jews that survived can be considered miracles. Some are scared to talk about what happened to them. Others tell their stories. It is hard to believe that such a terrible thing could have happened just a short time ago, but remnants of this infamous camp still remain serving as a reminder of the reality to the tragic end of so many lives. Auschwitz can never be forgotten.
