I believe the film is accurate and effective in depicting the monstrous evil of Stalinism that ?burned? even those who worshipped its radiance. The movie, however is fictional, and holds no concrete historical accuracy, as opposed to if it were based on a true story. The movie was made primarily to entertain, not inform, and therefore is not something reliable.
