I will always remember my first house. It was defiantly a “fixer-upper”. I remember the first time we set foot in our home. We walked up to the back door and there was an old fashion type wooden door. All the paint was peeling off of it, and the windows were foggy because the glass was always in the sunlight. We never regretted buying the home that we did because of all the work that we had to do, we love to do it and it keeps us busy. We still have a lot of plans for the house. We want to raise the roof and add a second floor, finish off the basement, and some day put vinyl siding on the house. I guess that a lot of work and a lot of sweat are expected when you buy a “Fixer-Upper”.
