I strongly believe that the death penalty is the wrong way to go about punishing our criminals. What type of society kills its own people? The United States is one of the few countries left in the world to practice the savage and immoral punishment of death and our culture's morals have accepted the death penalty as a reasonable punishment. In conclusion, the death penalty is wrong and needs to be abolished. Only barbarians could think that killing another human being is a good sentence for someone else who has also murdered another person. Capital punishment is just inhumane and cruel, and I cannot believe that two wrongs make a right.
