What bugs me the most about the version most of us know of Snow White is this: in the Disney version, Snow White selflessly cleans the Dwarves' house, without prompting, because she just wants to be good and helpful. She is the perfect housewife, never complaining that the dwarves drag in coal dust, or that Sneezy leaves his dirty tissues everywhere, or that Grumpy never says thank you. Not only that, but when she's done …

…they are capable of playing an important role in society just like them in fairy tales, and this thought initiates feminism. In addition, in the contemporary society, many feminists have criticized fairy tales since feminine rights are ignored in the stories. For instance, in "Snow White", it is the prince who chooses Snow White as his lover, but not vice versa.
