I have spent most of my life in a small town. Despite this small town upbringing, I have always had big dreams. As a little girl, I wanted to be everything under the sun. I dreamed of being a pop princess like Madonna, and then I would change my mind and want to become a firefighter. …that being a dreamer will just lead to future disillusionment, but I feel that without my vivid imagination I would have never accomplished all that I have. My dreams have grown more attainable since my childhood. I no longer plan to single-handedly save the rain forest or to set a world record for skydiving. I simply hope to make a difference with my life, and to be happy with the choices that I have made.
