Criticism on Huckleberry Finn
<Tab/>There are many controversies over the ending of Huckleberry Finn. For instance, many critics feel that the ending is too tedious and doesn't tie into the beginning of the book. However, the ending does seem to relate back to the beginning. At the end, Huck is found by Aunt Sally, who wishes to adopt him and make him civilized. She tries to do this because she is thinking of what
got back to civilization, he went on adventures with Tom. Instead of facing his obstacles, he ran away from them. Even though Huck does this, it doesn't take away from the fact of how he was acting through out the entire novel. One experience doesn't necessarily change the way his character is. You can only grow up so fast, and Huck was just realizing that he still had most of his childhood ahead of him.
