Emily and I were in love. She lived in North Carolina and I lived in Ohio. It wasn’t an easy relationship. We communicated often. We met in August. She was diagnosed with cancer in her knee in December. It started in her knee, but had spread too much through out her body. She was dying. We were told that she had about 6 months left. It was June 3rd. I got a call from her …

…the greatest thing that happened in my life. She taught me so much. A lot of the way I am today came as a result from her. Although I will find somebody else, nobody will ever replace her. God took her away from me. But I still thank God for the time that he let me have her on earth. I can’t wait for the day that I can see her again in heaven.
