Ethan Frome
Ethan Frome is a story about a man who is torn between love and security. Ethan marries Zeena for security after he is left alone be his mother’s death. When Zeena becomes ill, Mattie, a female relation is sent for. During her years stay Ethan falls in love with her. The movie version is much less satisfying than the novel. There are more significant diffrences between the movie and novel. There are more significant diffrences between the movie and novel than similiarites .

Even though there are some similiatires between the movie and the novel, the diffrences out weight the similiarities. Some of the diffrences include the expected look and actions of the characters, omissions and additions to the plot.
