…be happy. (The biggest lie of them all.) I felt so cheated that I was just ready to scream. I hated everything about this place. I hated the constant damp smell of old wood and old socks. The constantly failing boiler system. The terrible food. The curfews. The people. The tight small space I had to live in with two other people. The endless flight of stairs I had to climb. I hated it all.
