Hamlet - The Soliloquy
All of Hamlet's soliloquies say something important about his character, the way he feels, and the way he thinks. His famous soliloquy, "To be or not to be" says very much about how he is feeling in during the most recent events in the play. Hamlet's character is very complex. He wants to take action but he fears losing his soul. He's more of an intellectual who thinks of the future rather than the now.
discouraged. All of his thought has made himworse off and he's made himself incredibly confused. The only release he sees is in death. Nevertheless, after a while he is back to thinking and analyzing but this time he knows what he wants to do and the best way to do it. All of the despair in the forth soliloquy disappears and Hamlet becomes a man of action like the men he admired in other soliloquies.
