…the theories behind democracy seem to thrive for in this system the corrupt need to stay in check or else be thrown out of power by the citizens. Although this is a pessimistic way to view the world, it is also the safest. And so, democracy in real society is much more efficient and a stronger choice than monarchy, because even though one hopes for a justified ruler one must be prepared for the corrupt.
