Ibn Battuta was one of the great travelers of ancient history. He traveled to Mecca on his first hajj to complete the service that all Muslims should do if they are able to. After he has traded in his garb he returns to Mecca to perform the tawaf again. From the tenth to the thirteenth pilgrims return to Mina to perform these rites. The pilgrims begin to leave for home after they have performed the tawaf and these rites.
