We have all heard about bank robbers, car thieves, house thieves, and shoplifters. These are very common thieves, and we see them on television almost everyday. One kind of thief that we almost never hear about is the identity thief. We never hear about them on television, so we do not think much about these criminals and the effects that they have on their victims. …reported the faster it will put a stop to the thief. The most important thing to do is keep the police report of the crime. Credit agencies and department stores will want to get a copy of it. Anyone can go through a great deal of headaches if these important documents fall in to the wrong hands. Being a victim of identity theft is not the most publicized crime, but it can happen to anyone.
