Unmarried couples living together is an issue that has been criticized some years ago. And even these days, at the beginning of the twenty first century there still are people that treat it as a taboo subject. As I see it, neither cohabitation nor marriage are terrible things, they are just two different things in different times of your life, although I strongly believe that couples should live together before marriage providing they are engaged. As far as I'm concerned, living together gives each person the opportunity to get to know the person that they are planning to spend the rest of their life with.
