I feel that because of her secluded, lonely, and exhausting childhood, Fuller tried as much as she could to live her life to the fullest. Despite her tragic death in a shipwreck, many great literary authors, like Hawthorne and her dear friend, Emmerson, regarded her as a profound female writer.
