…showed last 85 words of 929 total…Penguins to the Stanley Cup, and won. In 1993 he was diagnosed with a Nodular Lymphocytic form of Hodgkin's disease, and after many surgeries and uneventful seasons, he retired in april of 1997, claiming he would never return to the game again.
But behold, Mario has returned to the game, ready to set more records and already showing the kind of talent he had shown in his prime. This season is shaping up to be a great one and with Mario leading the Pens, anything could happen.
