National Professional leagues are overly lenient towards their star athletes, which results in negative role models for kids and other people thinking that they can get away with the same things as the athletes. Mike Tyson, Leon Smith, and Dennis Rodman are just three of the many athletes that receive this type of special treatment. Team owners and their respective leagues need to do something to turn this situation around before they have murderers and rapists playing sports for millions of dollars a year.
