… aside, he shook the foundations of Europe, and introduced new ideas and revolutionary systems of government. Wherever he went he imposed the benefits of the Civil Code, and abolished feudalism. He improved the education, administration, and judicial systems. Napoleon granted freedom of worship for all denominations, encouraged industrialization, and opened careers for people based on their talents, not their name. Not only was France better for him, but the whole of Europe as well.
