Nathaniel Hawthorne's character Hester Pyrnne in "The Scarlet Leter"

In the novel The Scarlet Letter, written by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Hester Prynne undergoes both physical and emotional revelations. Hester is directly affected by the consequences of breaking moral and social codes of behavior.
