…Gatsby die, Tom and Nick leave as suddenly as they come. Although The Grapes of Wrath and The Great Gatsby have different settings and encompass completely different walks of life, the authors have chosen a nearly identical main character to effectively follow the courses of the stories. Nick Carraway and Tom Joad also share the title of some of the most famed characters in American literature, and will likely remain there for years to come.
