…Neal R. Pierce once made a statement that a large portion of the United States and myself believe, " the electoral college is a distorted counting machine and an old one at that!"(Neal R. Pierce, 149-156) There is no good that the Electoral College brings to the United States that the popular vote could not bring. Therefore, in order for the wishes of the American citizens to be heard, the Electoral College must be abolished.
