POV in the Gathering

How does point-of-view reveal his personality, values and attitudes? With Nathanial as narrator we read how he feels about certain situations and as teenagers we are able to empathise with him. Because of the way Nathanial thinks and speaks he shows his personality, and how he feels about different situations. …trust and believe in him, so that he can prove that he is a vital part of the chain. He also believes in the fact that good will always triumph over evil. This is shown in the way that he overcomes problems set by the Kraken and also how he discovers the key to overcoming the dark. Nathanial proves very effective as narrator as we as teenagers can successfully relate to what he talking about.
