…On the other hand, there is Ms. Curren, who simply passes away, and nothing is said about the progression of the fight with apartheid. These two stories are both excellent indicators of the turmoil in South Africa. Although they carry differences, they also convey their message very well. The characters, plots, and main focus all differ, but the theme is prevalent. The theme of love and comradeship shows through the stories used to portray them.
