Education from Socrates to Dewey has been an attempt to discover the secrets of this natural world. The definition of education is a basis for all the philosophies of all these great philosophers. To define education is too general and is a wide range opinion. One cannot give the true definition, only his opinion and what is best. …and schooling institutions for years. Socrates to Dewey and there is many more, but these four left their mark on the real definition of education. Of all, I think Socrates had the right idea with dialogue because it is a basis for education. It can be expanded through experience with other reputable educated people and many schools from K-12 use dialogue in their curriculum. The other theories are the evidence of the progress of education.
