A SCIENTIFIC METHOD PROBLEM SOLVING KIT
JANUARY 30, 2001
BIOLOGY LAB
Science and its methods help us to accumulate and evaluate facts and observations that provide explanations about our environment. Once a problem is identified, scientists can formulate hypotheses and devise experiments that will test it. Scientists who are creative will be able to solve problems in many different ways. The purpose of this laboratory is to become familiar with the scientific method.
Procedure
Each group used a chemplate, Brom Thymol blue indicator, and seven different solutions. showed first 85 words of 451 total

showed last 85 words of 451 total that had no color change could have simply just have had water added to them.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this experiment was relatively difficult because the chemical make-up of the unknowns were unknown, therefore everything in this experiment had to be guessed.
Abstract
This experiment went through the steps of the scientific method. This was done to find out what caused color change in some chemicals, but not in others. The results show which chemicals changed and which stayed the same.
