President. During the first shot , there were oak trees and a traffic-light support post
between Oswald and Elm St. That shot was probably deflected by a branch , and its
only trace was a nick made in a curb near the triple underpass. The second bullet
hit both the President and Gov. Connally just as the limousine came into view from
under a street sign. The third shot hit Kennedy in the back of the head , while
Oswald had a full view.
