Although many debates have surfaced over the ethics of such an attack, I feel that it was more than justified. …politics seemed useless. It was the only thing that could have crushed Japanese spirits enough to convince them to surrender and that is part of the reason why it was such a strategic move. In convincing the Japanese to surrender, the war basically petered out. Because the war was ended as a direct result to the dropping of the bomb, it was a very good call and it created a Strategical victory in the WAR.
