The Euro
What are the political and Economic Implications of adopting the Euro? The Euro has existed in one form or another for well over a decade. After much debate and scrutiny in 1991 it was decided that the Euro would be introduced. It officially became the currency of eleven European nations: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain, shortly thereafter. This introduction allowed for a single money supply throughout most of Europe,
will remain an accepted though unexciting aspect of European life. They say you have to strike while the iron is hot with people excited about the change if not the currency itself and what it represents the European Union would be very wise to use this momentum to get people excited about being European and telling or asking them what that means. Otherwise this may be the last time Europe is in agreement over anything.
