The Giver

The Giver is a a boy named Jonas who lives in a futuristic almost perfect community. Jonas is chosen to be the person who carries all the memories of the past, given to him by the giver. …and they consider the word "love" improper English. They take pills so they don't love anyone. No one sees color except the reciever because the memories are in color. The giver's community is a harsh comunistic society with no choices. Nothing fun ever happens in the community. It's a very good thing that we live in the world that we have today and not in a vast society as of the time of the giver.
