New virtual communities are emerging everyday and modes of communication are changing ever quickly and some of the reasons they are flourishing are mentioned in the paper. While we only see what our position in time and space allows us to see, it is clear that these changes - like those of the Modernist era - will impact on future societies for some long time to come.
