For this story analysis I am going to write about “Young Goodman Brown” by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I want to focus on two aspects that I feel are the most important in giving this story it’s meaning, they are, setting and Character.

Which in turn allows for the reader to feel like he or she is a part of the story and helping the reader identify with the characters in the story. In the end all these elements are used to transport a person back in time and into the woods with Young Goodman Brown, to be tempted as Christ was tempted .
All these elements in the end work together to give the reader an enjoyable reading experience.
