Each year athlete’s ability to perform seems to increase by leaps and bounds. Some reasons for this can be attributed to better training methods, better conditioning techniques, and better over all health of the athlete. Blood doping is appealing to many types of athletes. The 1984 Olympics bike team was use and they set many records bring home many goals and setting time records. As I discussed blood doping with a fellow classmate she said, ” I don’t understand why blood doping is illegal. If I want to win the 400 meter enough I could go to the mountains for a weekend and workout.”
