A human characteristic that separates us from the animal world is our organization of social and economic systems. Man, however, retains traits of his evolutionary ancestors in the form of self-preservation and greediness. …no inflation, and no disparity of wealth, power and status but reality argues almost everything socialism stands for. Capitalism has its disadvantages as well: high unemployment poverty and crime. Despite the disadvantages, however, capitalist societies have done remarkably well in improving the human condition as a whole. In conclusion, it has been proven by history that a free-market economy (Capitalism) increases the living standards of society as a whole at a price of social inequality.
