Throughout history there have been many problems in our world. One that stands above the others is the killing of the Jews in the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a time of horror, death, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. This man stood as a light in Germany as the country continued to darken in around him. He was a man of God that refused to just drift in the streams of hate but rather to swim upstream fighting …

…and an author of fiction and poetry but more importantly a man of God that stood tall in troubling times. His example of Christian faith is one that should be strived for.
