spectrophotometer analysis of enzymatic solutions
SPECTROPHOTOMETER ANALYSIS of
ENZYMATIC SOLUTIONS
Abstract
This experiment involved the use of a spectrophotometer and solution mixed by us in the laboratory. The spectrophotometer was used to analyze the speed of the reaction taking place in the sample through the use of light. A solution called guiacol was used because its reactivity with oxygen causes it to turn a brown color adding pigmentation to the solution. (Jacklett 2000) All the solutions were made using guiacol, turnip extract, H202 and dH20. The graphs show how the varying showed first 85 words of 948 total

If I ever should choose to take on this experiment again I would make sure that I watched everything more closely and prevent cross-contamination 100 percent. I would also re-think my hypothesis and come up with one that I felt more comfortable with.
