…and that is why schools are allowed to drug test students. The other factor in Vernonia School District v. Wayne Action is there state interest and what type of degree of government. The courts have said that drug testing is allowed at schools. After reading the case, I think that high school athletes, shouldn’t be tested because of privacy. Athletes who compete for their connury should be tested for drugs because of fair game.
