Is it right to let people die when their death could be stopped? Billion-dollar pharmaceutical manufacturers are faced with this question every day. Should they reduce the price of AIDS drugs, allowing many more Africans to be able to afford them? Or should they keep their prices high and only allow the wealthy to take advantage of these AIDS symptom suppressers? …people who are infected with it. Following through with steps such as these, along with funding research and supporting people who can’t afford AIDS drugs, are a great way to help. Our government could offer a tax deduction to all of the companies providing free drugs as an incentive to do so. Most importantly, I think that we should educate the young and old about what they can do to help themselves and others.
