…together, A & P takes shape, and the story comes out. I would recommend for every young person to read this story, I’m sure that in some way or another everyone can enjoy it. There is even a slight hint of comedy, so the reader may actually get a laugh or two out of it. Updike has created a well written short story that teenagers, and young people will enjoy for many years to come.
