…rectify them that led to the conflict which destroyed him. These works portray homecoming in an untypical way in order to illustrate the affects of irrational actions. The actions made by the characters as a result of their strong emotions served to perpetuate violence and dissent. Throughout all of these works the characters in question produce continued conflict by acting without considering reason. Ultimately, this serves to produce a circle of discontentment and reactionary conflict.
