All in all though, “A Tale of Two Cities” is a story about fictitious people who’s lives you become lost in, while taking place in a real, history-changing time and place. The characters must struggle against something very real, which makes them so believable and real in a way. That’s also the reason you become so emotionally attached to what happens to them as the revolution unfold.
