A Tale of Two Cities Theme

Ironically, the theme of A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens has nothing to do with geographical distance or size, as suggested by the title; rather it is predominately about resurrection. Charles Dickens amalgamates the theme of resurrection and the story plot together with great craftsmanship. Not only do the characters show that resurrection is a strong theme, the events that develop support it as well. Perhaps that is why A Tale of Two Cities is a well renowned novel.
