A Tragic Hero
How far would you go to stand up for what you believe in and stay true to your values? The Crucible, written by Arthur Miller in 1953 is an accurate portrait of the witch hunts and trials in Salem Massachusetts during the 17th century. Heroes are rare but in this case stood John Proctor. Proctor is an upright, out spoken, proud man. Except this hero doesn’t have a happy ending, then again not all do.

Honestly I probably would have been one of those who would have gone with the crowd in order to save my life.
