Afghanistan is a third world country that has been ravaged for the past two decades by wars, massive poverty, and horrendous crimes against humanity. This country has known little normalcy due to unstable and corrupt governments, the Russian/Afghanistan War, countless religious zealots leaders, and even an ongoing civil war between rival tribes. …in the South, which were supportive of the regime, and with the recent assassination attempts and with the traditional tribal feuding that has fueled Afghanistan’s violent history, it remains to be seen if the country will be able to advance to a second world status. Nevertheless, the opportunity for the Afghans to improve their country can be realized, but only if the right economic, social, and political choices continued to be realized and fulfilled.
